Notre Dame Basketball Recruiting: Tae Davis to Visit Fighting Irish

Notre Dame basketball is looking to add some size to their roster and they may have found their man in Tae Davis. The 6-9 forward from Seton Hall is set to visit the Fighting Irish on Monday, according to sources.

Davis played in 32 of Seton Hall’s 33 games as a true freshman, averaging 13.4 minutes, 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. He entered the Transfer Portal following his first season with the Pirates and has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Despite his limited playing time, Davis has shown a lot of potential and upside. He was named an Indiana All-Star in high school and helped lead Warren Central to a 19-7 record and a berth in the Class 4A State Championship.

Notre Dame head coach Micah Shrewsberry and his staff are reportedly very interested in Davis and feel good about their chances of landing him. However, they will have to beat out other suitors for his services.

It remains to be seen where Davis will ultimately end up, but Notre Dame fans will be keeping a close eye on his recruitment in the coming weeks.
