Marquette Women’s Basketball Adds Three Transfers to Roster

The Marquette women’s basketball team has added three players to their roster through the NCAA transfer portal. The Golden Eagles have signed Lee Volker, Frannie Hottinger, and Bridget Utberg, all of whom bring valuable experience and skills to the team.

Volker, a 5-11 guard, played two seasons at Duke before entering the transfer portal. She will have two seasons of eligibility left and is excited to join the Golden Eagles. Hottinger, a 6-1 forward, was the Patriot League player of the year after averaging 20.4 points per game at Lehigh. She will have one season of eligibility left and is looking forward to competing in the Big East. Utberg, a 5-7 guard, played her freshman season at Central Michigan before entering the transfer portal. She will have three seasons of eligibility left and is known for her ability to stretch the floor from three-point range.

The addition of these three transfers, along with two incoming freshmen, will give the Golden Eagles a new look next season. Head coach Megan Duffy is excited about the potential of her new roster and is looking forward to seeing how they perform on the court.
