Cover by country
Modified and motorsport cover is regulated and priced very differently in each market. Start with your own country before comparing insurers.
United Kingdom
UK insurers require every modification to be declared, and track day cover is usually bought per event separately from your road policy. Note that UK track day policies commonly exclude third-party liability, unlike your road cover.
United States
The US market is served largely by specialist agreed-value insurers and by event or sanctioning-body cover. NHRA facility cover at sanctioned events does not cover your own car.
