The Patriots were not a good defensive team through the four weeks of the season. They allowed an average of 457 yards 32 points a game in starting out 2-2.
The past four weeks have been a different story. The Patriots have shaved 80 yards a game off the yardage figure and, more importantly, have cut the points allowed to a mere 12.75 during that span.
